Quick Start Guide

1. Sign Up

Create your account at app.klop.finance

2. Create Your First Budget

Section titled “2. Create Your First Budget”
  1. Click “New Budget” on the dashboard
  2. Name your budget (e.g., “Personal Budget 2025”)
  3. Start with our default categories or create your own

3. Connect Your Bank

Section titled “3. Connect Your Bank”
  1. Go to Settings → Bank Accounts
  2. Click Add Bank Account
  3. Select your bank (currently supports Investec)
  4. Authenticate securely via OAuth

4. Import Transactions

  1. Go to Transactions
  2. Click Import
  3. Upload your bank statement (CSV, OFX, or QIF format)
  4. Match transactions to budget items

5. Track Your Progress

Section titled “5. Track Your Progress”
  • View spending by category
  • See remaining budget vs actual spend
  • Get AI-powered insights on your spending patterns
